Automations

Automations are EVE doing the repetitive follow-up work for you — texting a new lead within minutes, keeping buyers warm over weeks, nudging a Realm when something critical is due. You turn on the ones that fit how you work; EVE handles the timing and drafting from there.

Automations live under Workflows in the left navigation, which holds three related tabs: Automations (the catalog on this page), Drips (multi-touch nurture sequences), and Transaction Templates (transaction blueprints).

The automations catalog

Open Workflows → Automations to see the full catalog — every automation EVE can run, grouped by where it helps. You enable or disable each one; an automation only enrolls people and acts when it's switched on. A few high-value ones are on by default.

Lead automations

  • Speed to Lead — a new inquiry triggers an instant first-contact text within minutes. The single highest-leverage conversion automation, and it's on by default.
  • Buyer Property Watch — the moment a new listing matches an active buyer's saved search, EVE emails them the match. Event-driven, not on a schedule. On by default.
  • Buyer Nurture — keeps active buyers warm with a low-pressure multi-week text and email drip.
  • Seller Nurture — nurtures seller leads with home-value and market-positioning touches.
  • Post-Showing Follow-up — asks for feedback and keeps momentum after a tour, while the property is still fresh.

Sphere automations

  • Cold Re-engage — gently re-opens conversations with a lead or contact that's gone quiet for about a month.
  • Past-Client Stay-in-Touch — quarterly value touches that keep you top-of-mind with people you've already closed.
  • Home Value Reports — anyone with a home address gets a bi-weekly home-value and market report. Buyers auto-enroll the moment their purchase closes — a future seller lead in the making.

Realm automations

  • Stage-Change Touch — when a Realm hits a milestone (under contract, closing, closed), EVE sends the client a stage-appropriate update.
  • Seller Market Update — while a seller's listing is live, EVE sends a bi-weekly area market update: comps, days-on-market, inventory shifts.
  • Critical-Item Nudge — an overdue task, a missing document, high risk, or an imminent close date nudges you before it becomes a problem.
  • Comment Email Alerts — emails you when the broker comments on or reviews a document, and emails the broker when you reply. **On by default.**
  • Deadline Warnings — text and email you ahead of key dates (inspection, financing, loan approval, close) so nothing is missed. Texting needs your mobile on file.

How automations behave

  • Nurture sequences (drips) are multi-touch — a planned series of texts and emails spaced over days or weeks, with delays built in. See Drips.
  • Triggers are the events that start the work: a lead is created, a Realm changes stage, a contact goes quiet, a key date approaches. EVE watches for these and acts when an enabled automation matches.
  • Frequency cap — EVE won't send back-to-back touches. A minimum gap between outreach (roughly a day by default) keeps clients from feeling spammed no matter how many automations overlap.
  • Consent & quiet hours always apply. A contact who's opted out of texts (see Texting) is never messaged, and EVE respects quiet hours.

How to enable an automation

  1. Open Workflows → Automations from the left navigation.
  2. Browse the catalog and find the automation you want.
  3. Toggle it on. It begins enrolling matching leads or Realms from then on.
  4. Toggle it off any time to stop new enrollments.

Autonomy — how much EVE does on its own

The Settings panel on the Automations page sets EVE's autonomy level, which governs every automation and drip at once:

  • Manual — EVE only suggests; you do everything.
  • Suggest — EVE prepares the message and waits for your approval.
  • Guided — EVE handles low-risk touches collaboratively and keeps you posted.
  • Autopilot — EVE sends routine, well-sourced messages on its own; critical actions still need your approval.

You can also Pause all automations at once — an unmistakable stop that halts every drip and prepared action until you resume. Brokers and admins can additionally set org-wide approval rules (for example, require confirmation on all outbound). Fine-grained per-category autonomy (Follow-ups, Scheduling, Drafting, and more) lets you dial one kind of work up or down independently of the rest.

Enabling an automation never bypasses these guardrails — autonomy level, approval rules, consent, and compliance all still apply. See Working with EVE.

Building your own automation

Beyond the catalog, + Create lets you build a rule from scratch — pick a trigger (a Realm changes stage, a task goes overdue, a deadline approaches, a document is uploaded) and one or more actions (send an email or notification, create or assign a task, request a document, flag a risk, move a pipeline stage). Or choose With EVE and describe what you want in plain language. An Activity log records every automation run so you can see exactly what fired and when.
