Insights, banners & alerts

EVE doesn't wait for you to ask. It surfaces what matters right where the work is — ambient, not modal. You won't get pulled into wizards or a separate "AI mode"; instead, insights and nudges appear inline, next to the data they're about.

The Insights panel

Insights is your home base (the gauge icon at the top of the left nav), and every Realm has its own EVE Insights panel too. It reads your data and presents what it sees — it never changes anything on its own. You'll typically see sections like:

  • Realm Readiness — an at-a-glance read on how ready a Realm is to move forward (healthy, needs attention, at risk, or critical).
  • Critical Risks — the things most likely to derail the Realm.
  • Recommended Actions — concrete next steps EVE suggests, each with an inline control to act on it.
  • Suggested Communications — drafts and outreach EVE thinks are worth sending.
  • Watch — items worth keeping an eye on, but not urgent.
  • Timeline Integrity — whether your dates and milestones line up.

Empty sections simply don't show — the panel stays focused on what's actually relevant.

Alert banners

When something needs your attention, EVE raises a banner — for example a Realm at risk, a compliance item, or an approaching deadline. Banners are color-coded by urgency and usually carry a one-click way to act or to jump straight to the relevant surface. You can dismiss a banner once you've handled it.

Throughout Insights you'll see Recommended Actions. Each one is a prepared step EVE has worked out, with an inline Apply (or Add) control. Applying one updates the Realm through the normal, audited path — and because there's one EVE across all surfaces, acting here instantly updates the same item anywhere else it appears.

Recommended Actions are prepared, not done. Nothing changes until you apply it. To review and approve a whole batch at once, use Finish with EVE.

When something can't load

If EVE can't reach what it needs, the panel degrades gracefully — it shows what it can and tells you plainly what's missing (for example, "Unable to load EVE Insights right now" with a way to retry). You won't get a blank screen or a raw error.
